Park Lane, London

We have completed a new project for the refurbishment and alterations of two Flats in Park Lane for Hyde Park Residence Ltd, who are part of Harrods Estates. It was requested we do not showcase any photographs.

Cadogan Place, Knightsbridge, London

This magnificent Grade II Listed Property, located in Knightsbridge, was purchased by the current owners as five individual Flats. The property was converted back to one single dwelling, which involved major structural alterations; under pinning to all Basement walls, to extend the Basement, and the construction of a Basement Swimming Pool. The house has been finished to the highest specification, with Italian Marble to all eight Bathrooms/Cloakrooms, Oak polished floors; an Italian Kitchen and bespoke joinery has been fitted throughout.

State of the art Audio Visual Equipment has been installed to all rooms, including the Cinema, which is located within the Basement, where you can also find the Gymnasium.

Desertoak were the Main Contractor and were on site for approx 12-months, with works totalling £3.3 million.

The premises are currently being marketed at circa £26 million.

Whitehall Court, London

This prestigious Apartment in the Listed Building has been fully refurbished to an extremely very high standard; and includes a bespoke lacquered Macassar Ebony Kitchen. A stunning Master Bathroom has been installed, which has been clad in beautiful Black and Gold Portoro Marble. Specialist Bespoke Joinery has been fitted throughout, as well as polished plaster walls and specialist paint finishes by the Artist Nick Fer. This project was carried out over 18-months and has a project value of £1.6 million.

Glebe House, Bibury, Gloustershire

This former Victorian Rectory was purchased by its present owner, with a view to refurbishing the property and the estate outbuildings and grounds into the family’s country retreat. As the Main Contractor, Desertoak completed external renovations to the stone walls and Mullion Windows, replaced tiled and lead roofs and upgraded all rainwater goods.

Internally, every room was extensively refurbished, structurally in some cases, before Bespoke Joinery, fittings and exceptional finishes being installed; at the same time restoring the existing period features.

The project was completed over 8-months to the value of £800k.

The Larches, Worcestershire

This Georgian Farm House was extremely run down and in need of full refurbishment, from the roof timbers to the Basement floors.

The project included external works to paved areas, ornate garden walls and a complete Willow Bed Water Treatment System. This project was carried out over an 11-month period, to the value was £1.2 million.

We have also carried out works to the Client’s Notting Hill Residence.

Firs Farm House, Worcestershire

Firs Farm House is a distinctive Grade II Listed Property, which is situated within a countryside conservation area between Stratford-upon-Avon and Worcester. This Georgian Farm House was purchased by a London based Lawyer as the family’s new home.

This 5-Bedroom house has many period features, including original paneling, sash windows, an Inglenook Fireplace and working Window Shutters.

Desertoak have completed both internal and external repairs and restoration works, and have worked closely with a local Interior Designer, Ali Foulds, to create a beautiful family home.

Works have also been carried on the property’s Grade II Listed Barn.

Collin House, Worcs

This once 6-Bedroom quintessential Cotswold Hotel was purchased by a Private Investor, with the aspiration to refurbish and restore the property into a spacious family home.

Desertoak were employed as the Main Contractor, to complete stone window and wall repairs, replace damaged roofing materials and refurbish the premises internally throughout.

Many of the original period features were painstakingly restored; including Fireplaces, local Blue Lias Flagstone floors and beamed ceilings.

Mortimers Quay, Evesham, Worcestershire

After severe flooding in the area, 12 Riverside Apartments were badly flood damaged and were all in need of complete refurbishment.

Desertoak installed new floors, walls, Bathrooms, Kitchens, doors and decorations to each of the Apartments, to suit the owners’ individual requirements.

However, within a week of starting work, several months after the initial flooding, the River Avon rose again, cutting off access to all of the Apartments; luckily the damage was minimal this time!

Lichfield avenue, Evesham

This modest 3-Bedroom semi-detached property has been completely refurbished, to a high standard, including a large extension to the rear. The property now has two Reception Rooms and a large family Kitchen, together with 4-Bedrooms and also a Loft Conversion.

The project was completed over a 16-week period, at a value of £85k.
